I had the pleasure of getting lessons from Randy G of the pool school at my home in Lebanon Tn. I will give you some background, before the lesson I was an average b player who thought I could play a little. I thought he would give me some advanced lessons and basically tweak my game. I was completely wrong. He arrived and we started by taping my stroke. I thought it was pretty solid. Man was I wrong. When we reviewed the footage , I had a huge elbow drop, a jerky backstroke, and major problems with my grip and delivery. These are just a few of the issue he brought to light for me. He worked on these issues with me on a one on one basis and after my two day lesson I could feel a huge difference in how cleanly the ball came off the cue. My stroke is now straight. The difference in randy and every other instructor i have seen is this,Not only did he want me to be successful but he left me with the tools and drills to maintain and continue to improve upon my cue delivery. This was just the beginning of what he taught me. I honestly believe this will take years off my learning curve. Randy's personal motto is "I believe" , but once you leave his class or teachings you will be a believer. So my advice is don't spend your money on that magic $2000 cue that won't make your game better, invest in yourself and in improving your game get in touch with Randy and make yourself a better player today.
