I had a one in a million piece that was ruined due to an "uniformed" seller. I got the piece in thinking it was dry (I should have hit it with a moisture meter). I placed it in an indoor closet, and went out of town for work. I came back four days later, and the square was warped and cracked beyond salvation. I still think about that piece. For such a magnificent, and finite wood, having it fall into the wrong hands, not properly processed/seasoned, and sold "wet," should be criminal IMO.HRB....Some would argue one of the most beautiful cue woods in the world!
