Hotel rooms selling out for the Midwest Billiard Expo/Open

Bob- You should contact some of the Pool Halls in Southern IL near St. Louis and see if they are interested in adding a stop on the Midwest Tour. I know of some great places to play that could/should be able to accomodate with the room size and spectator room available. Just a thought!
Thanks,
Zim

Hi Zim,

I think that someone else has a "Midwest Tour" but it is not the same as our event. Can you give me more information?

The block of rooms I mention are sleepng rooms. We have over 50,000 sq feet of playing and vendor space. In addition there will be over 80 Diamond pool tables throughout this resort.

We have players coming from all over the world for this event and it is filling faster then I can keep up with it all.

All information will be helpfull and thanks!

Bob- I'm sorry I thought the Midwest tournament was a part of a Midwest Tour! Is there anything like that around IL, MO, IN areas? What can be done to get it started? I'm from IL, but about 20 minutes from St. Louis. I'm in the US Air Force, own my own Billiards Retail shop ( www.zimsrack.com ) and would love to see and know tons of players who would love to have an Ametuer Tour stop thru the St. Louis area.

We have several events in the Chicagoland area. The 2 main events of the year are the Windy City Open www.windycityopen.org and now the midwest Billiard Expo/Open www.midwestbilliardexpo.com.

My partner John Stich, in the expo event has a "Chalk Talk Tour" around Chicago and Wisc. Informatoion for that is on the windy city site. John also runs tournaments all over the United States.

In Moline IL, Duaine Bowman has an event coming up. Duaine has run events for years. I think his next event has $5,000 added.

Then Dr. Pool runs a lot of casino events. His website is www.drpool.net you can get a lot of information from his site. He has an event coming up this weekend in Peoria, IL.

Hope this helps!

Bob
