I have been doing tips and repairs for local players for a while and building a cue here and there. I have never done any work for a pool hall or a bar. I was playing tonight at a pool hall and the manager approached me about fixing their cues on a regular basis. Mainly just tips, ferrules, and bumpers on the house cues. He is going to give me a call but I don't even know what to tell him for prices.
I guess I'm wondering what the going rate is to put on a tip, ferrule, or bumper on a house cue? What type of tip is standard? I don't want to over or under charge. Any help getting me in the ball park would be appreciated.
