I'm considering an LP custom and looking on feedback esp for steel joint with radial pin. I shoot with a Carolina Cust. But also have or had a Farris, JW, Scruggs, DP , Mohawk ,Moochie if anyone could give a comparison. Thanks
Lee's SS 5/16x14 piloted cues hit as well if not better than my Schon. Nice and solid yet you can still get some sweet action on the CB. I have really been taking a liking to to his wood to wood joints with the 3/8 x10 pins. I have him install Molavia tips on my cues and the combination is a deffinate 9.5 out of 10. Straight stroked shots are on par with my schon with a 314 shaft and this comes from his stock shafts. Trust me you wont go wrong with an LP. As far as a SS radial pin I cant say. However I had him make an extra shaft for my DP which is a radial ss sleeved joint and I prefer it over the stock shaft. He will work really close with you on what you want and listen to what he recommends. He uses the best quality materials and knows what works together and what doesn't depending on the type of hit you are going for. Good luck.
I have two Titlist conversions that Lee did for me. Both 5/16-14 piloted - one SS & one solid ivory joint. I'm very happy with both of them. I don't use his shafts, so I can't judge that way. I only have one, and it hasn't touched a ball.
I'm having Lee convert a Titlist for me that should be finished in the near future. I'll post a review when I get it and hit some balls with it. I think Lee's pricing is very reasonable and he's a pleasure to deal with.
