How long does it take new Tip to dry?

I am having some new Tips put on my B/J shafts and I dropped them off yesterday around 12:30 and they said I could pick them up at the same time today?

Should I shoot with them today?
I am used to waiting a whole week to get a shaft back I had a new Tip installed on.

The guy I use, Roger at Capone's, uses super glue gel and it takes him about 10 minutes to apply and shape a tip. When he gives it back to you it's ready to go. So, I'm thinking you should ask what kind of glue they used. And it probably wouldn't hurt to ask if they think the cue's ready to play with.

When I change my own tip, I usually wait a few hours before I trim and shape it, and 24 hours before I play with it.

Correctamundo! If quick curing super glue is used, it is only an matter of a few minutes before the glue is cured and ready to go.
