This might be the best thread yet, at least the funniest. How many hours, or how obsessed are you with pool? Every hour do you think about a cue, or action, or getting off work to hit balls, etc? Would you rather make $100 dollars an hour at work or win $50 an hour playing pool?
Do you use pool terminology even to friends that don't play? Do you find yourself dreaming or fantasizing about beating Efren? Are you always thinking of your next victim? Just how hooked are you? Noticed I said "hooked." This is your way of life, our way of life that many will never understand. Wow, I am in need of therapy when I break down and analyze all of the pooldom in my life. How 'bout you?

I go in cycles. I want to try out everything I'm reading about and execute it over and over. Luckily my work allows me to frequent this forum! Because when I'm home I'm doing drills.:D No, I don't think about beating Efren.:( Maybe I should set my goals really high.:D

I dream about pool. I read about it all day long at work. I love it. It defines me. I was never for people putting others in boxes, but if you have to categorize me and stereotype me I'd rather it be "pool player"or even "hustler" if it makes it easier, even though I've never played a money game in my life. Pool calms me when I'm angry and makes me feel better when I've had a bad day.

I think its cus I can be a perfectionist at times, and pool always seemed to hard to conquer. Even if I run 5 racks, can I run 6? Can I shoot all day long and make every single ball? Thats my question and my answer is, "No, but I will. I will sink every single ball." Winning against other people isn't really that important, they are simply people standing in my way of making every shot.

It sounds like I take it too seriously for it to be fun but I'm smiling all day long just thinking about it. And that RUSH you get when you make that difficult clutch shot can't be replaced by any substance.

MORAL: Pool is the shit.
