How much would a barbox cost?

I'm looking to get a barbox in my garage but I have avoided it because of the cost of getting it leveled/reclothed. I am wondering how much it would cost to do this if the table cost around $200 and it is within 50 miles of my house. I live in Western Mass.

I picked one up from a local gaming company. Fairly new Valley table...installed new rails and Simonis...1400 delivered and set up. Threw in 4 sticks, balls, and a rack. Very happy with it. I think they charged me 500 to upgrade the cloth, rails and delivery.

ive seen free bb's on craigslist or cheaper than $200 that's for sure

If you think of the cost of renting at pool hall ($8/hour), and the time you'd play on the table if you had it at home. I think you'd find $200 for table, ~$150 for new cloth, and ~$150 to set up and level, it will more than be worth your money.

Also, if you think that a tank of gas is now $60-$70 dollars. The money spent on a home table would make you life more enjoyable.

I say go for it. The only thing you'll have to worry about next is the cost of fizzy yellow beer for your friends :)

If you are decently handy, and have a few friends. You can set up a barbox table yourself.

If you troll craigslist, you can find them for cheap. Friend just bought one for 300, rails were decent so had it reclothed for 300, $600 and a near new table.

PS: If its a valley, make sure it uses a magnetic cue ball return. The older ones used an oversized cue ball for the return (unless you are just going to leave it open - though its kind of fun to leave a jar of quarters around lol)
