Do you hear "nobody wants to play for money"

I always say there is always somebody to accommodate you, you just might not want to be accommodated.
 
Well i gamble and i am sick of thease low life pool players firing air barrles at me no they got money they just dont pay. U know what its a joke. I never not paid or run out on someone. Yeah i want to gamble and i like to play cheap so i dont hurt no one. I am to old to argue with people. Im sorry but lately nobody wants to pay me

Then why do you play them? Have them post or don't play....

Fool me once, shame on you......fool me twice.....
 
Never really happened that often just lately and posting is cool but i had a guy have me down 160 and I paid him then we play a race to 7 for 200 I win and he gives me 100 and says he has no more money. After I screamed somebody let him borrow o 100 dollars to pay me. And I have a long list of players that I will not gamble with now. You will not get me twice. I do it because I got a pocket full of money and I like to gamble.

I would suggest in the future if someone wants to play sets for 100(or 50, or 1000, etc) you establish a minimum amount to lock up, and a minimum time period. Say 500 and 6 hours for example. So you guys have to play until someone loses 500 or you've played 6 hours. When one of these two things happen, either of you has the option to quit. Winner or loser, doesn't matter. Make sure they post, or at least show you they have the set amount of money.

Makes things much easier than to just start playing, then they either don't have the money, or you get tired and look "bad" if you quit a winner.

Most anyone who says this in a pool hall are typically the ones that just can't find a game where they have the nuts......

Thats what they call a tournament i played a great player for 9 hrs straight and it was exciting i just never thought i have the trouble getting my money back and he did pay thank god. I going to start playing a dollar a game pay up after every game lol..i had a blast last night i was walking to my truck and i could tell when my opponent left the pool room he was screening it sounded like someone was being torchered. So funny i love it hell it worth the crazy ness. I love the pool life

They know you do, but they will only lose a set or two then pull up or not pay.

I have left the window wide open for 2 years locally. I have maybe 4 guyz step up. 2 I broke , no matter what the spot. The one never won when we played over 50 a set, a headcase. The last locksmithed me, never played a third set if he was down, but let me lose for hours if he was up.
There just is no pride, and most of these guys are flat broke. I have 20 guys who all know there spot. I will play them for whatever they want, if thry have the same to lose. They are just scared, but they still talk about it. Put up the cash and play, thats what pool is supposed to be.

Not knocking your action or attitude, but this could be why pool will never become "mainstream" popular.

Just the way it is, I guess.
