How to disassemble GC3 scorekeepers for powdercoating

Hi all,
I'm refurbishing a gold crown 3 table and was hoping for some advice on removing the plastic dials from the metal casing on the gold crown 3 score keepers. I was able to remove the entire score keeper from the rail without an issue, but not sure how to disassemble the metal frame from the plastic dials, so I can send the metal bits to the powder coater. Thanks so much!

I'd contact Ken at Classic Billiards. https://www.classicbilliards.net/ He's got new ones for around 40bux.

Thanks. I'll give Ken a call. I hate bothering him. He has already provided amazing information on staining/painting. Don't want to buy new ones though! I have the originals from the factory intact. Just want to give them a facelift as I am already powder coating the rest of the metal.

They should be pretty straight forward to disassemble. The counters on my GCI were very simple to take apart. Post some pics of the underside of them.

Here are some pictures of the underside. It seems like the axle is solid and press-fit into the holes in the end. I tried to just push the axle out, but it did not seem to want to budge. I did not push too hard, as I really don't want to break it though!

Looks different than the GCI/II counters. The axle on the GCI/II counters slides out easily with tape securing them on each end.

those SUCK. I always end up finding the older & better built ones, the axle slides right out. those counter wheels are also like 4 pieces.... Good luck.

Thanks Trent. Let me know if you have any lying around. I'll contact Ken as well . . . If I can't find an older & better replacement, I might try to just cut the axle off and then buy a replacement piece of pipe that fits the hole better. Thanks everyone for their help.
