How to identify rod material

I recently purchased a box of random diameter and length rods from someone exiting the business. While the wood ones and phenolics are fairly easy to identify, I also have some very hard and smooth solid black and solid white 12" long rods from 1"-2" in diameter. No discernable patterns, fiber/grain, etc. I have no clue what these are. Any suggestions on how to identify?

rod on the right looks like Derlin, the left looks like Tomahawk possibly.

Delrin or nylon on the right, Possibly Juma or Tomahawk on the left. Juma will have a little flex to it.

The one on the left has those little speckles like it came from Cuefit's fake elforin tusk pile.

It's much whiter than the pictures show but it takes a super sharp tool to turn anything respectable for a finish, at least to this rookie. I haven't put it on anything yet, just a few JPs, until I knew what it was. I suppose I could thread one up as a ferrule and see how it hits.

For an amateur eye like mine, no idea what the one on the left could possibly be, but that small bit of translucency on the right one suggests delrin or nylon....

rod on the right looks like Derlin, the left looks like Tomahawk possibly.

Tomahawk will not have "grain" lines.

The one on the right looks like delrin the one on the left looks like some sort of paper micarta

Right rod looks like Delrin.
Left rod looks like Juma or Tomahawk.

You could measure the diameter and length. Calculate the volume. Weigh the part and then calculate the density.
