How to put a kamui clear tip on an OB-2 shaft

Carefully cut the old tip off.
Using a very sharp blade, face the old tip off of the carbon pad. Make sure it is perfectly flat, and lightly scuff with 320/400 grit sandpaper.
Clean the end of the shaft and the carbon pad with a magic eraser.
Scuff tip lightly to make sure the acrylic pad is perfectly flat. Clean it.
Place a drop of loctite gel on the tip's pad and apply to the shaft making sure it spreads evenly and is fairly centered. Apply light pressure with the tail stock of your lathe and let it cure for a minute or two.
Cut the pad and tip flush with a very sharp blade while your lathe spins the shaft, careful not to cut the end of the shaft. This part is not for amateurs, it will take some practice.
Shape the tip with a sharp blade, then clean and seal the shaft.

Not an OB-2 but a good Kamui install on a Jacoby Hybrid Edge.

The above is how I would do it. There are quite a few videos on youtube, not many of them any good, but should give you an idea.
This is one of the better ones.
