the author is correct, furthermore, the great Mosconi took it one step further by advocating centre ball on most shots, he claimed up to 90% on some of his matches

anyone that thinks they need extreme english has a lack of understanding of the game

you've got to get the balance right at the end of the day.

i believe you do need to use it all the time more or less, but minimally.

it makes the game more natural having a touch of outside on for cut shots etc. but the bottome line is you need to be having good angles on your shots, so all the english is doing is helping it along a bit.

ditto........."helper english" can do wonders for your game.
