how to remove cigar smell from a leather wrap?

I recently purchased a cue that had been in what could have only been a cigar smoking bar. The leather wrap wreaks of cigar smoke as does the finish and shafts etc... it was stored in a box case that stinks also. My question to the cuemakers who are willing to answer. What is the best way to remove the smell from the cue ( finish and wrap)? I used a really good ( Zymol) cleaner wax for the finish, seemed to help and I have already saddle soaped the heck out of the leather wrap, maybe helped a little. The cue is an old Huebler custom shop, if that helps with the type of leather.

Thanks for the advice.

Get a can of Ozium (Ozium is usually available at car washes, auto supply chains, and headshops). Ozium is a very powerful deodorizer. It was originally developed for use in hospital morgues and slaughter houses and is favored by legions of pot heads for its ability to deskunk a room or auto in no time at all. It will not damage the cue's finish (just make sure you follow the directions below, you do not want to saturate the finish or the leather). Oh and get the original scent (neutral).

Place the cue in a plastic sealable storage container ( line the container with paper towel and place one layer of paper towel lightly over the cue. Spray two five second bursts of Ozium, snap the lid onto the storage container tightly and let it sit overnite. The smell should be gone, or at the very least, greatly reduced.
