Time to fess up!!!
I matched up twice over the weekend, once on Friday night, and once on Saturday night, fairly cheap in my books.
Friday night, went 1-1 on sets, told my opponent I wouldn't continue playing that cheap, upped the stakes 50%, and I won 1 set and he quit.
Saturday night, matched up again with another player (I won first time), and it was a hard fought match, but I ended up 3 sets winner. We either played 9 or 11 sets.
So, my weekend was pretty good.
I had offers to play Scotch Doubles (which is popular around here at the moment), but refused. Seems like most of the time when I do match up in doubles, my partner, who normally shoots pretty well, decides to have a 'brain fart' night, and end up losing when we should have the best of it.
