Here's a nice and relatively lightweight ebony Huebler, model H/L, circa 1986, in very nice shape. A great player, ready for action, with a perfectly smooth shaft in the stroking area, and a newly installed Tiger Sniper Tip. First SOLD, including shipping and Paypal fees, gets this black beauty!
Here are the specs:
Butt weight = 14.85 pz.
Shaft weight = 3.75 oz
Total weight = 18.6 oz.
Joint = 5/16-18" pin w/original Huebler nylon shaft insert
Tip = Tiger Sniper layered, Leather Tip, measuring 12.73 mm in diameter.
I would rate this cue a solid 7.5-of-10 in the aesthetics department, and 10-of-10 in playability. While there are a few minor dings in the shaft, they are well beyond the stroking area, being near the joint. The entire stroking area of the shaft is silky smooth, and free of any dings, scrapes or anomalies. The linen wrap is in great shape. While the "Cue by Huebler" decal is not perfect, it's still clearly legible. And even though there are a few minor nicks on the butt, the black finish is still very presentable, as seen in the pictures. Usually, ebony cues are rather heavy, but I feel this cue has an ideal total weight of 18.6 oz., and a balance point of 19.5 inches. Overall, this a really nice ebony cue by one of America's greatest cuemakers, Paul Huebler, all set up and ready for the pool hall.
