Huebler jump/break

Could anyone tell me if the old Huebler jump break would be considered a descent break cue by today's standards? I have an opportunity to buy one but wanted to know what everyone's thought are. Thanks

I never knew Huebler shafts to be stiff enough to jump

I'm guessing the taper is different on this cue if compared to the normal Huebler shafts.

I was told the jump/break starts were the same as the player shafts.

If you're comparing to "today's standards" I would say, no, not as good. Probably more of a collectible value vs. function.

I have no idea which shaft the cue in question has but there are different ones out there. The first cue had a 29" shaft that was quite stiff. The one I have now had 31" shafts that have different tapers. The thinner one had the ferrule removed the shaft hollowed out and a carbon fibre pad put on, no ferrule for my player. The other thicker 31" shaft has a bungee jump tip on it and a handle for jumping and jumps extremely well. This shaft on the butt end breaks well also. I'd love to find more of these 31" shafts
