Huebler Sneaky Pete Repair

Recently had some idiot crack my top shaft of my Huebler AS-H1 Sneaky Pete I've had for close to 20 years. Wondering what the best/easiest/possible fix may be for this damage? The crack is vertical right at the hozel.

I had to Google 'hozel' before I knew if I was going to be able to offer anything.
You must also play golf. A lot of Google references to golf clubs.
So, is the 'hozel' the ferrule or the joint collar? May not matter.
The shaft can probably be repaired, tuff-call without seeing it, but it will never
play the same and you'll always know that it was broke. You may not want that mental thing.
Maybe time for a new shaft. I can point you in the right direction.

I realized after I posted that it is the joint (where the two halves connect) where the crack is located. It's about an inch long vertically and it's a solid wood connection. I would like to repair it if possible, but if there is somewhere I could replace it if needed (with exact matching shaft) then I would look at that option too.....thanks.

Their are a number of reputable and skilled cue makers that do repairs. I have had tremendous luck with Scott @ Proficient Billiards. (It's not luck, he is just darn good.) Check him out at ProficientBilliards.com

You would be amazed at some of the jobs Scot has done and you could not even see where the the repair or damage was. Check his website out he had a Meucci that was cracked in half and a couple others including a old Palmer that a guy backed his car over:eek:... Check it out and give him a call at his new # 717-478-8283.. or his site, ProficientBilliards.com <<< ED
