What needs to be done, and don't do it if you are not confident, is take a soldering iron and heat the pin only. This will loosen the adhesive and allow you to remove it with an allen wrench. Be careful not to hit the sides as it will melt the butt plate.
That is the only way I know of. But be careful not to over heat them either. Just enough to loosen the adhesive.
