I just finished reading Hustler Days by R. A. Dyer and I would certainly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good story about pool. For anyone who doesn't know about it, Hustler Days takes you through the lives of three well known hustlers, Minnesota Fats, Wimpy Lassiter and Jersy Red. It is very well written and the book's prose demonstrate the authors passion for the game. However his adjectives can sometimes come off as silly, that is a very small complaint and shouldn't deter you from buying or borrowing the book. By the end of the book you really care about these three guys which is the mark of any good book.

In summary read it, read it, read it, read it.

I agree, it is a good read. It's a little different from the "Playing off the Rail", "Green Felt Jungle", etc... type of books in the way it reads but it is certainly engaging.
