I bought this retractable microfiber eye glasses cloth with a little hook to attach to my case to wipe down my shaft. Think it will work the same?

I've been using 3M eyeglass cloths for years. I have one in each case, plus extras for when I need to launder one. I've also gifted some to my friends. It works well to remove dust and oils from the cue. I wipe the butt and the shaft. I haven't seen any for sale in stores the last few years, but they are available on Amazon. 6" x 7" fits nice in case pouches.

MF cloth is not abrasive. On my CF shaft i use a paper towel and 91%alc. probably daily and a clean MF while playing.
