I can draw better with my left hand

not exactly, but I find this interesting.......

For a long time my max draw (normal or right handed) was up to 2 feet. I finally figured out I was not following thru and actually "slowing down" the cue with my right hand upon impact. When I make a mental effort not to do that, I can now draw up to 1 table length.

OK, regarding my left hand, I need to use it on certain shots, and I found out I have no "slow down" problem with that hand, so even though I have only used my left hand about 15 times in my entire life, and have a terribly unstable grip, I can draw 1/2 table with my left hand......

I guess this post is not a question, but more a realization that a bad habit in my right hand that I had to overcome, but the unused left hand was completely free of this bad habit.

I think this reinforces getting lessons early before a person develops bad habits which are hard to correct.

Good post. Interesting how even though the grip will feel unstable or "weird", the lack of fine motor control actually helps the cue just do the work. Most people I work with that can't draw the ball either slow the cue down and/ or aren't hitting where they think due to some fundamental flaw or hangup about hitting the ball too low and miscueing. Rarely is it something else...
