i found CTE to be useful in certain shots

well i he tried it and its not for me.....but i have found it to be helpful on shot when aiming away from the pocket.....especially long shots when shooting back cuts.....just my 2 cents.....maybe it will help someone and maybe not.....wondered if anyone else has certain shots it helps them with.
 
It's quite useful for any shot to a pocket including banks. How long did you try it for? One session won't reveal much. It's like saying I tried the trumpet (for five minutes) and it wasn't for me.

I tried the trumpet for less than five minutes but I found it was damaging the cueball and it was hard to pocket balls.

Decided to go back to my cue and CTE.
