How many of you PLAYERS out there have found a cue that you really like, gotten used to how much it deflects, forgotten about it, and now just simply PLAY pool? I mean, the science applied to billiard games no doubt has come a long way, but don't you guys ever want to forget about all this stuff and just enjoy making that great shot? After reading some very lengthy posts about deflection, I noticed that I was paying way too much attention to it and its results while playing. So the other night, while playing, I decided to forget about all this stuff and just FEEL my game again. I went off~~~making everything I tried....perfect shape, smooth strokes, and MOST importantly I paid attention to ENJOYING this exhilirating, nerveracking, fickle, and beautiful game. No offense to anyone who would like to debate deflection and predator and meucci and on and on again. I just LOVE to play and not confuse myself TOO much while doing so. I apologize for the rant.
Peace,
