If any of you Cue Makers have some free time and the inclination to help, I need a couple of these made.
I have that exact cue, which is a Mohawk, but the company is nonexistant any longer...
From what I gather, the thread bolt is a 3/8 X 10 1/2mm....
Trust me, I have no love for this bolt and would be willing to send it to you to have you replace it with a more common bolt, like a Radial or something else.
All I am particular about is I want the hit to be similar to the McDermott shaft I have been using that the threads finally striped out of. It was always a very tight fit, and I broke with that shaft for 7 years till it finally happened, so I can't complain too much. I think it hit so nice because it had the linen joint as well as a linen ferrule.
Can one of you give me an estimate to make atleast 2 of those shafts???
If you can tap it to the Mohawk thread that would be great, if not, as I aforementioned, I will be open to paying you to replace the Pin as well.
I can be reached at JEDIVMAN@COMCAST.NET OR AT 810-515-5834
Thanks...
