My BCA 9-ball league needs improvement and I would like to look at what other BCA 9-ball league formats are like. Just those leagues which only count who made the 9-ball please. (We are spending too much time keeping track of who made which ball, etc.) [Already got your info Fred - Thanks!]

If you can give me links or post information about how your 9-ball league plays its tournaments and calculates its handicaps, I would greatly appreciate it.

My questions are...

How many players per team?

Format of each tournament? i.e. Each player plays each other player in a race to ?? - round robin, whatever.

Breaking? Who breaks when?

Scorekeeping? Link to a copy of your scoresheet if online.

Handicaps? How do you calculate handicaps?

Other useful information or links?

The BCAPL League I run is scratch. They are 3 person teams. We previously used the 27 game format but now use a race to 21 voted on by players. We rotate so that every player plays every other player. Breaking team alternates by round. Score is by win or loss. Pay back is at the end of session(10-14 wks) by wins. Amount per win is calculated by total games played and total games won. Need help running a league I live in Portland.. :)
One thought we were going to have better players give a spot during game.

If you could post your score sheet or provide a link, that would be really helpful. Thanks!
