Icebreaker Leather/Phenolic tip....any reviews?

I bought an Icebreaker cue about 3 months ago.
I really hated the Icebreaker tip. It made me want to sell my
cue on Ebay for whatever I could get.

My break is pretty good and I can make the cueball land in the middle a high percentage of the time.

The icebreaker tip is very inconsitent. Most of the times I felt like it had no power, but 10% of the time I broke with more power than ever.
My guess is if you are off just by 1MM, the tip will either hit more or less leather and more phenolic, that's why it's incosistent.

I tried a Mezz pressed ingot tip and it was better, but I put on a G10 tip and it breaks like crazy now. I will keep the g10 tip on unless I play somewhere and they say it is against the rules to use.

Thanks for the review took me about 30 seconds before I could read it because I was drooling over your avatar LOL!.
