A game I have been fantasizing about is icehockeypool.
The table is exactly the same as a regular pool table, except the 'cloth' is a layer of ice. The balls are replaced by pucks, and walls are vertical instead of inclining. To prevent your hand freezing to the 'cloth' and to prevent deforming the upper layer people should wear a glove.
What would happen to the game? Obviously no top- or backspin can be played, nor jumpshots and masse. So overall the player can do much less than on a regular pooltable.. but I do think it would be a fun experience?
Which businessman is going to take this to the icebar?
This also reminds me of "poolbal", a game created by budweiser in which soccer is combined with pool. Other than the promo I never heard of it again..
