On Saturday, February 2, 16, and 23, 2008, there will be an
ICMOA State Qualifying 8 Ball Tournament at:

Qualify for STATE (in Springfield, IL held on April 4-6, 2008 at Praire Capital Convention Center)

Hi Raemondo,
The ICMOA stands for Illinois Coin Machine Operators Association. You do NOT have to be a member to play in this event. You can play in all of the qualifiers even if you win a slot in the first event, but after you have won a slot, you are only eligible for the cash that can be won.
I hope your new year is going well.
 
The ICMOA tourney is a trip. Very fun but very tough. Big field with good players but a pretty short race. Pays pretty well IIRC. I hope to get down there this year. The friday night mini is a classic.
 
Last year, 1st place in the open 8 ball was $1400 and $750 in the women's singles.
 
First place at State for the men's is $1400 + a trophy + a jacket.
First Place in the Women's is $700 + a trophy + a jacket.
