Thanks for the help guys. I am planning on purchasing this cue as my first cue. I figured anything is better than house cues. My concern right now is that it is heavier than I like. How would I go about changing the weight if I go through on the purchase? I like playing with 17-18, but the cue might be 19-20. Thanks

Ask the seller if they will can change it for you. If not, then your local billiard supply should be able to. Or even do it yourself. It's not complicated. Just remove the bumper and unscrew the weight bolt and replace it with the smaller one. And put back the bumper. Less then five min job.

Edit: Got another quick question, how would I go about taking care of the cue? I know about keeping it in the case when not in use and keep it dry, but is there anything else?
