Ideas for Joint Pin Adapter for fitting a Carbon Fiber shaft to a Robinson Cue 5/16-18?

My Robinson cue, like all Robinson cues, has a 5/16-18 pin on the shaft that screws into the butt instead of the pin being part and screwing into the shaft. I'd like to figure out a way to use a carbon fiber shaft on my Robinson butt. Any ideas about either a joint adapter that may already be available or ideas on making an adapter that would allow for a carbon fiber shaft to be screwed into the Robinson butt?

Thanks!

Just about any competent cuemaker will be able to modify the shaft to work. It's a simple job.

The 5/16x18 mounted in Mr. Robinsons shafts are aluminum.
