Hi all,

A friend of mine asked my opinion about this old snooker? cue he inherited from his great grandfather but I was no help. He would love if anyone could offer any information about this cue & original case and its possible value. I don't think he's trying to sell it, he's just curious. But you never know what the old mighty dollar could do to a man ;). Thanks in advance for any help with identifying this old thing.

Dave

Thanks Paulybatz. I agree about the pics but that's how I received them earlier tonight. Don't know how straight it is I have only seen the pics.

Anyone else with an Opinion?

Hi All,

I very much appreciate paulybatz's input, but was wondering if everyone else agrees. I will be reporting back to the owner in a couple of days so I'm just trying to be thurough.

Thanks again, Dave

Mr paul is dead on

Old brunswick 1 piece snooker cue butterfly into weneer cue pre 1950 that has been made into o snooker cue. But with a wrap like that maybe it was made that way. I have only seen the 1 piece huose cue and the conversion cues made from it. The collar is way to high for another conversion but it can be repinned then have a modern shaft made for it.
I appolagise for No "P" in Paul

Brunswick

I agree with Pauly and Nick that it is an old Brunswick.....but I don't believe it is a Hi-Run. It kinda looks like a No. 30 with four veneers above two butterflies!?

Hi-Run cues look like two on the left

Double Butterfly Splice

I think it is an old Snooker cue made by Brunswick
