I recently had this older McDermott handed down to me. One of my dad's regulars at his pool hall passed away recently, and this stick was sitting in my parents' basement for years now. (after the pool hall closed, my dad and his friends used to shoot in his basement) My dad ordered this for him in the mid-late 90's, if that gives anyone a time frame of when this style was out? I know that's not terribly "old", considering McDermott has been around since the 70's I believe, but it's not brand new is all I meant. It's got a leather grip as well.
No particular reason that I want to know what model it is, I'm just curious. And, I like to be able to tell people, "I have a McDermott ____" , instead of a blanket "I shoot with a McDermott" lol Seems like a great stick, excited to use it and remember all the good times it's seen over the years!
