If you own a Dan Whitten Imitation Lizard, or Imitation Alligator Leather Embossed Case please respond.

Think I will order a Dan Whitten Case after X-mas, but I am think of Ordering it with either Imitation Lizard, or Imitation Alligator but am wondering if anyone has has experience on how the Embossed Leathers wear, compared to the Whitten Smooth Leathers.

So if any of you have had any long term experience to share on how the Whitten Embossed Lizard, or Embossed Alligators leathers wear please share.

Durability

I don't know about the rest of you, but I take very good care of my cues and cases. That wasn't always the case, but when you spend that kind of money on a case you take good care of it. Regardless, I have two Whittens, one textured black, and one cognac lizard. Neither case shows any sign of wear and unless they're abused both will last a very long time and look very good.

I have an Instroke alligator case but Im not sure if its real or not. I havent looked at a Dan Whitten before so I dont know. Sorry I cant help you but gator looks so good on a case!

You have the picture from the Indyq web site that is the model 3.
I have that exact one on order because of the looks, style and the reliability.
With any luck it will arrive in time for a gift for myself.

One of my league teammates has the same alligator style case but in another color and it looks great and appears to be holding up very well.
But with it being leather, it will be heavy with the larger cases.

The brown one best. It shows the pattern better, IMO. In looking
at OnQcases website recently, which has exotic leathers, the case
I picked out as my favorite there was a Brown Alligator one.

Whitten Aligator

I have owned two Whitten cases. I currently have a black 2X4 aligator print Whitten. They both held up great. I like the lizard or aligator print because there is so much texture that it hides minor scuffs that would stand right out on a smooth leather case.

Did you order from Whitten direct, or IndyQ. ? I ask as Whitten direct has better prices.
