Tonight at Master Billiards in Queens, NY, Mexican road player Ignacio Chavez will play Santos Sambajon a Race to 21 of 9-ball for $5,000 with probably a lot of side action going around.

I like Ignacio but then again, I have yet to ever think Santos is going to win anything and he ends up winning everything.

did chavez and gandy valle match up yet ??

who won the wed open ?


I like Chavez BTW.

I even like Chavez over Gandy Valle.. (saw him play on monday.)


A real good match up would be Chavez vs Park.

What was the game and how much was Chaves giving to Kirkwood?
 
Any idea around what time they'll show up and play? I've never been to Masters yet, but that might change tonight!

Hey Fred

After he beat Guitterez in a 10 ahead set, he played Kirkwood and got worn down in an 8 ahead even up 9 Ball match. How did you miss that? Must have been during one of your super rare sleep stints.

PS- I dont really think he will in a rout but he could and i dont think Santos can rout him.

Id say the average match starting at 7, starts around 10:30. Ill make the over under 8:30 and if anyone not in one of the camps likes the under, Ill bet some.

maaaaaan... i went there for the chavez appleton one night and waited all morning with no action. because the chavez camp wanted a spot AFTER beating appleton. LOL

Besides, wasn't this match-up supposed to be last night?? And wasn't it supposed to be Chavez and Gandy Valle?
 
Can someone PLEASE bring their handycam and record this match so i can buy a copy from then when they are done?

Action tapes are WAAAAY better then the accustats ones IMO.

they should. there have been soo many good match ups at masters and none of them recorded.

the guy that does the pro pool video . com should come over and record these.. !

I saw Chavez on Tuesday-He didnt mention Valle though i had heard the same as you. He did mention tonights match-up but these matches are always less than 50-50 to happen though these 2 guys are a bit more stable IMHO.
