im buying a new cue stick, and i already found one i really love. so dont gimme others coz im definitely getting this one. its 20 bucks only, but i really like it.
my question goes out to filipino pool players here, nbc, sputnik, etc.
i want to reshape its shaft, in filipino, 'gusto kong panipisan ung tako ko' i want its shape to look like the shape of the shaft of mika...where can i go here in manila?
 
they have a branch here in manila?
also, does anyone know where is mika's bar here in makati? i live in makati and i cant find the bar owned by mika...
 
Mika's (immonen) bar has no pool tables in it. It's right across Don Bosco school, beside Mustang bar. It's called Flava. Nothing great. Who wants to go to non-smoking bars anyway?
 
Sputnik...good thing i dont smoke. Yeah... the bar is so-so. I did see a few nice girls though, the few times that i went there.

you have non'smoking bars in the phillipines??!!

i thought that was a strictly USA, liberal, enviromental, california/new york city, thing.
 
Yes. They are actually based in manila.

Makati City, which is the premiere business district in the Philippines, recently passed a law banning smoking inside all business establishments.

They have been pretty strict in implementing the law, warning and then levying fines on erring individuals and establishments.

The other cities havent followed suit yet.

before you try to reshape your cue shaft ala mika's shaft. make sure you know the exact measurements and diameters of his shaft from the tip upto the joint. but i suggest that you copy the shaft dimentsions and measurements of predator cues(which are standard). i think its almost perfect. especially for filipinos(most of us hav small hands kasi).

wut the heck....wut kind of pool champion would put up a bar and not have at least one table...geez..that's crazy
 
yeah, i live here in makati...what's the name? flava? just in front of don bosco makati? that's where i go during sundays....i dont care whether it has a pool table or not...just want to taste the foods there...:D
i think its good that they banned smoking in public places here...why? because i dont smoke...hehehe.
so doc...yeah, we filipinos have short fingers...:D

I can also recommend Viattorre Cues as a source of fabulous cue work. They worked on my cue and did a wonderful job.
