I'm looking for a former league operator out of Las Vegas from the '90's

A good friend of mine, who is in mid 70's, used to live and play in Vegas back in the 90's and he purchased a cue from the guy who used to run the city league during that time. About the only other information I have is it was probably the only league during that time, or at least the largest and most well known. He thinks it was 1994 but can't quite remember, he does know this guys team won the championship that year in the highest class - Diamond or Platinum class, again, can't confirm, this is just his recollection.

Anyways, the story is he (the league operator) was given a SW cue that year for some reason (my friend thinks it was because they won the league) so he sold his old one to my friend. My friend sold the cue years later so I thought it would be fun to see if I could find it for him.

Believe me, I know it's a longshot but I figured I won't know if I don't try ;)

I will see him this weekend and am going to through some pictures of SW cues to get an idea of what it looked like, all I know at this point is it was pretty much a plain jane. I'm assuming that means merry widow, but will know more on Sunday.

Thanks in advance.

P.S. I do plan on calling Laurie eventually, was just seeing if anyone had any information (possibly the guys name) before I made that call.

EDIT: I also believe it was a pre-SW cue.

Did I say longshot...:)
