Hello,
I've never played pool up until about 6 months ago. I've taken quite a liking to it and admire the challenge of controlling the physics and geometry all while using strategy. I joined my local APA league and practice when I have time.
Recently I came across a free table on craigslist. It's a 7ft "Sportcrest" (A brand that I'm sure is synonymous with the utmost quality) Executive 1 piece 1/2" slate with ball return. As best as I can tell it's a cheap table from the 70s. The felt is in fairly terrible condition and I am considering re-felting it myself. I'm pretty handy is this something that would be reasonable for someone to be able to do? Any advice?
The table is still playable for fun and it makes my man cave seem more impressive, especially for my modest income.
Thank you
