I played in my 2nd event yesterday and what a disaster. It started off driving 5 hours on Friday and had a room booked at a Holiday Inn. For $250 you'd think the bed would sleepable but worst night ever. The venue was deplorable with the shitiest conditions I've seen. I was tired and defeated before I even started and the 1st round I played cell phone and all his spectator buddies who were loud as shit when I was at the table. I'm 3-3 with buddy and it's his break and he miscues and then stops the CB before it hits the rack. I grab the CB and am deciding how to play it out and buddy has walked away and on his phone. I roll up to the back of the rack and buddy has no clue what I did and thinks it's where I left him. The dummy has no clue it's BIH and smashes them with the CB ending on the floor. I look at his cheerleaders and said snooze you lose then beat him 6-3.

My 2nd round I'm playing on the same crap table and playing jumpin Jack and I kept hooking him and he kept on jumping and never made the on ball but fluking others. He had me 5-4 and it's my break and I made a ball and making the sweetest out with inch perfect shape on a tough 5-ball. I got to the 8 and thought i hit a sweet kill shot and played the shape on the 9 and the CB kept rolling into the side pocket. I lose 6-5. I was pissed but it gets worse the next round

I lost the next round on the B side and left. An hour later on the way home we realized I was still in on the B side lol. I'm getting better and playing some decent runouts and feel I'm on the cusp of some good wins. I felt some jump in my step on my runout and it'll only get better.
