I chuckled when I saw that Blaine Barcus, who plays in my league in Houston drew Johnny Archer for his first match. How unfortunate.
Imagine my surprise when I checked the bracket and saw that he won the match 9-8 after being down about 7-3 or so when I was checking the live scoring.
That should be a confidence boost for the rest of the tournament.
Keep it up and good luck!

Really? Wow Blaine plays well but not that speed no offense it is just the truth, very impressive though.

We never know when a player is "breaking through". I think it's a milestone for Blaine. It's now real that he can win against any player.

Good shooting Blaine!

Danny D and Grady always said.., play the table not the player!

You play the speed that results say you play.

Way to go Blain!

it was quite a shocker. i wasnt watching that match but one nearby. i saw johnny on the hill with a sizeable lead. he missed position (although most would have been happy with it), missed his shot and was cue slamming pissed off. i thought relax u got this. the match i was watching finished up and imagine my surprise when it was hill-hil and barcus was running out the last few balls for the win. not taking anything away from barcus b/c he had to make the shots but it seems to me that johnny lost that game in his mind...

I talked to him after the match. He said he broke and ran out the hill game. Pretty sweet way to win it
