When Ralf is on, which is close to always, he's a world beater and proved it again in Japan. How great would it be to tell your pool war stories to your old buddies years from now by saying, "Yeah...I stomped both Bustamante and Reyes' ass back to back in the same day like it was child's play back in
'o4 to win the biggest tournament in Japan". They, in the mean time, are winking at each other and saying, "O.K. Ralfy...we're all going down to get some schnitzel...wanna come? Latest research shows that schnitzel and beer improves the memory". "But listen guys...no kidding...........
 
Ralf is one hell of a pool shooter but if the guy ever sits still for very long in a funeral home somebody is a gonna embalm him. :D
 
I dont know what it is but ralph always gives Efren a fit!
 
Efren has a hard time with Souquet, he lost to souquet at the DCC as well, congratulations to Ralph on his big win.
 
Ralf just focuses on pool as a professional. He has long been heralded as Germany's only full time professional pool player. I would like to submit that he is one of a handful of players who could be described as full time professional pool players who have never done anything but play pool and market themselves.

As far as I'm concerned, Ralf may be as close to a pure athlete as the sport has. He works very hard on both the physical and mental sides of his game.

You left one thing out Bob, and he also works on being a really decent human being. What a super gracious guy. (maybe it's not work)
