Improving from local to qualifier tournaments?

I'm getting to where I'm doing well in local tournaments. 1st place in very small local tournaments, 3rd place in larger local tournaments.

What did you do to get better at playing in qualifiers?

(It seems to me that getting good at winning local tournaments is fairly straight forward. Follow, draw, kick, position practice, etc. And when you are winning local tournaments, you are playing pretty good. So is it more of the same practice which made you good at locals [to get good at qualifiers] or something different to get good at qualifiers?)

Hi Billy Bob,

Becoming a better player involves always working on all facets of your game; pocketing, kicking, safety play and strategy, break etc. As long as you devote time to every part of your game you will continue to develop into a well rounded, consistent player. This is what breeds success at every level.

Good luck!

Jennifer
