Looking for any info on this Helmstetter. Purchased on Ebay over 20 years ago, set aside in closet and refound it recently. Do not remember any of the description from when I purchased. I have searched the internet and found nothing similar.
Shafts do not appear to be straight conical taper.
Wood pin is in the butt section rather than the shafts.
8 point full splice birdseye maple into? Brazilian rosewood?
Inlays, assume they are faux ivory not real?

Has this cue been modified? Reason i ask is that i've never seen a Helm with wood pin on the butt. Its possible someone put a wood pin in the butt and made new shafts.

I had that thought as well but haven't found what the original cue looked like to confirm.

It's a standard Helmstetter 3 cushion cue. Been making them for decades. Here's a link with some info but do your research and you will discover what it is and maybe get an age
