IngenPool Tournament Sofware

Hi,

I have a question about the IngenPool software.

Is it possible to organize a tournament with Ingenpool where the first matches are played in pools before playing single elimination.

For ex., if there are 32 players, can I create 4 groups of 8 players, each player playing against each other of the same poll (7 matches per player thus).

Then, only the 4 best players of each pool (for ex.) is qualified for the next rounds (1/8, 1/4, etc. single elimination in this case).

Having tried the software, I think that it is not possible but I am not sure because I could maybe have missed something, due to the fact that my English skills are limited ...

The problem of the double elimination tournaments is that some players play only two matches ... :embarrassed2:

If the answer is no, do you know another software witch can do that?

I got this response from support service:

'Hi Marc, not possible the way you mentioned. Ingenpool uses the "Mixed KO" format to expedite a tournament, which starts as a double, and ends as a single. You can experiment with the simulator, select "Mixed KO", 32 players, and select a KO level. Regards Dan'

Thus, my question is: do you know a softaware (or Excel file or any other pgrm) able to organize a tournament in the way I asked in my previous question?
