Does anyone have contact details for someone at Inside Pool Magazine other than what's on the website as they do not resond to that?

We signed up for and paid for the magazine at the Gem City Open and are still waiting. I have sent at least three e-mails with no response from them. I thought we'd catch them at the Atlanta Billiard Show this weekend when we arrived early Saturday afternoon. The guy in the booth next door told us they had left earlier in the day and were not returning. Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks....................Paul

Go with Billiards Digest

This crap has been going on for several years. A friend went up to they're table at the BCAPL Nationals and told them he had never received a magazine from signing up at last years tourny. They gave him a T-shirt and said they would take care of it. Still no magazine.:(

this is no good. i signed up for the e-sub level and i still can't sign in to the website. :/

Not sure if it was this post or another email but got a call from them and they say it's taken care of..................we'll see what happens.

You're not missing anything

There seem to be only 20 pages with 15 of 'em being ads. The quality of the magazine has surely went down. I heard 6-9 months ago that the owner/president/editor (one of those) was going through some tough times.

It appears as if the tough times persist. Good luck anyway. My nickle worth.

Billiard magazines are obviously having a rough time of things and unfortunately things are only getting worse. I had a similar problem with Billiards Digest and their promises. I signed up when they had a promotion going on where you got an instructional DVD when signing up and it never showed up. I called about 6 times over 5 months and was told over and over that it was on back order. Then the next few months the story changed to "we can give you a few free months extension". They finally settled by giving me a free year extension, although I wonder if it is actually going to happen.

To me, the DVD was worth the same amount as the years script, so it ended up being a break even ... but it still leaves a bad taste with all the false promotions and bogus promises.

Hopefully your situation is actually resolved and they come through for you.

I went through similar problems with Inside Pool and BD but more so with IP. The content is done well, layouts, instructional articles and after all it is an industry magazine not necessarily for the pool player. I have found tournaments already over by the time I get the magazines in my hands. For example July issue doesn't get to me until the 3rd week of July that has April's results in it. I find the localized pool magazines or regional pool magazines have better information. IMHO
