A few weeks ago i had my cue case(old instroke2x2) in the back seat of my jeep, i work outside alot and aftre work i grabbed my 5 gal. water jug, almost empty maybe 6 inches of ice left in it, and threw it in the back seat standing upright. the next morning i go out to go towork and on the way home the day before the water jug had fallen over on top of the case. the ice had melted and all the water leaked out of the lid and saturated the top 8 inches of the case, i mean water dripped from the leather. i wanted to puke, i was afraid to open the case( containing a jerry olivier custom, a bunjee and an xtra shaft for the JO). well i finally prepare myself to see my pride and joys' ruined and open the case, COMPLETELY DRY!!!! even the felt/suade? whatever the material is that they use was totally dry. and this is an old case and not nearly as tight as it once was. i was amazingly impressed. needless to say i am100% sold on instroke cases now. they DO protect your cues, without a doubt. there are alot of good cases available today but you konw where my moneys going from now on!
