Instroke cases smaller and more textured vinyl?

I got my first 3x7 Instroke black vinyl from Nielsen's Billiards back in early 2024 and just received a second one last week. The older one has a wider / overall larger main tube, slightly larger pockets and is a smoother vinyl. The newer one is definitely narrower in the main tube and pockets plus the vinyl is much more textured. When did this change and are the narrower ones newer inventory?
