Wooden Cue Case
I made this one a few years ago... I like it a lot, I was planning on using some exotics like cocobolo and others to inlays and such for other cases, but never got around to it. I just had made this one out of poplar, stained walnut with some simple ilays to get a prototype design. It fits 2 butts and 2 shafts, with a little accessory box for chalk, scuffers etc.
I made the wooden one using 1/2" stock for the sides, and 1/4" stock for the top. The entire thing uses 1/4" cigar box, or finger joints. The top is recessed through 1/4" rabbets on the inside of the ends and sides. I lined it with felt and 1/4" foam.
I also make leather 2b2s if you're interested. I added a pic of one of my leather cases at the bottom.
