When the first Enclyclopediaof Billiards was published I reviewed it weekly. Coming fromnorth St Louis in the 60's, I really did not know where to really go for a cue. I read this article on Dale Patton and decided to call him. Dale had retired, but had one cue left made with aGus Szamboti Blank, unsold that he kept, but never applied tips. I bought it back in 1997. Here it is. I have attached a short read for the First Edition of the Enclyclopedia for starters. The joint collars are perfect, it is the flash.
