OK. I'm noticing that jump/break cues are getting as much publicity as laminated shafts nowadays, and I'm thinking, "How is the IPT going to affect this?" I'm seeing that the new kid on the block that everyone wants is this X-Breaker, if I said it right. Now, I know you need a big break in 9-ball...sometimes, but in 8-ball wouldn't you need the same big break?
Will you be able to use a jump break in the IPT if you don't use it to jump with? Also, for the players who are used to having a jump break, how much would that hurt their game? I know that these will be pro, undercover, and expert level players and that they will probably be able to adjust, but how many of them rely on a jump/break cue?
